聖職者がわざわざ男根の形のものがついた仮面を用意するかね? 『トンデモ一行知識の世界』間違い探し編

「彼の発明した」の「彼」とは、スペインの異端審問所長官トマス・デ・トルケマダ (唐沢俊一の
いう「十五世紀スペインの初代宗教裁判所長、トルケマダ」) のこと。
「"魔女のくつばみ"」とダブルクォートつきでググると、唐沢俊一の上記文章をそのまま
コピペしたような文章 2 つと、「うるさい鉄の桃じゃなくて熱した鉄の三位一体 Trinity」
でも言及した、山田風太郎の『銀河忍法帖』からの引用くらいしかひっかからない。
で、やはり先のエントリのときと同様、拷問道具の画像いっぱいのサイトを調べてみた。

しゃべらせないようにする鉄製の仮面系の拷問道具となると、以下の 2 つのどちらかと
なるようだ。
・ The Branks (Scold's Bridle) [1][2]
Brank (口かせ) または Scold's Bridle (口やかましい女のくつわ) と呼ばれた、鉄製の
猿ぐつわ。名前の通り、口やかましい主婦を罰するために使用された。
通常は頭部を固定する鉄の檻のような形をしていて、口の中に入れるための金属製の
突起があった。舌に触れるこの突起には、釘や小さな歯車がついていることがしばしば
で、犠牲者がしゃべれないようにしていた。16 世紀のスコットランドが発祥で、イギリス
やアメリカへと広まった。

torture mask (拷問の仮面) または mask of infamy (悪評の仮面) と呼ばれた、鉄製の
仮面。これをつけられた者は、公共の場で嘲笑の対象となると同時に、物理的な拷問
もされた。
この仮面はボールのような内部装置をもつことがあって、犠牲者の女性が嘆き悲しんで
金切り声を出したりすることを防止するために、そのボールを口または鼻の穴の中に
入れて使用した。
長い耳のついた仮面は、その人間がロバのように愚かな人間であることを示し、大きく
突き出た鼻や豚の顔の形は、汚いと考えられていた動物を象徴させていた。
どちらも「男性の性器の形をした棒」は使用していない。また、スペインのトルケダマが異端
審問に使用したかどうか疑問である。

存在はするようですね。
HPなりなんなりあれば展示物の概略でもわかるかと調べてみたんですが
どうにも手がかりすらつかめない状態で
連絡先が分かればなんとか手紙でも出してみようかと思うんですけどね
旅行会社にすら知らないといわれてちょっと難航中です
なにかわかったらまた書き込む予定です
